Raising Cane's, or Cane's for short, has been a place that has been near to my heart for a very long time. What other food could beat chicken fingers and french fries? When you pair those two together with a big piece of Texas toast, a cup of orange soda, and the amazing Cane's sauce one will understand why this is the best fast food restaurant out there. Over the course of the review I will cover the different foods, the pricing, and all the other characteristics that make Cane's the wonderful place that it is.

Restaurant Layout and Atmosphere

The Cane's that I call home, is in Apple Valley, MN. It is hands down my favorite Cane's that I have been too and there are many reasons behind that. First, when I walk in I am graced with the smell of chicken which is always awesome. I look around and the place is always busy and full of life it seems. When I walk to the counter I always am greeted kindly by the staff, which is very unknown now a days. The layout of the restaurant is impressive as well. On all of the walls, there are 1930's-1970's movie posters and song album covers. I always go to the same booth with my friends (the booth in the corner with the big Prince Purple Rain poster) and it brings back feelings of nostalgia. I really have no complaints on the layout of the restaurant, the only gripe I might have is that at times it can get very busy and be a little harder to find a table, but that's not very often.

Pricing and Menu

One of the reasons I like to go to Cane's so much is because f the bang for your buck. I always get the same box combo that costs 6.79$ (turns out to be roughly 7.15$). While that might be a little pricey for fast food, the amount of food one gets, as well as the quality makes up for it. In the box combo there is: 4 chicken fingers, basket of crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, a drink, and Cane's sauce. The amount of the food in this combo will fill anyone up and leave them satisfied. The menu really doesn't have a whole lot of selections, which is a good thing. I believe that because there isn't a lot of choices, it makes it easier for people to make a selection and ultimately an efficient way to run the restaurant. The 4 different meals one can get are: the Box Combo (6.79$), the 3 Finger Combo (5.99$), the Sandwich (5.99$), and the Caniac (8.29$). All of the combos are very reasonable for the amount of food within one.

Food and Sauce

The moment that everyone has been waiting for, the talking about the food. Just looking at the pictures above get me hungry and make me crave Cane's. The juicy, 24 hour marinated chicken, are clearly the main point of the meal. Every single bite of them is amazing, especially when dipped in the Cane's sauce. Words cannot explain how great the sauce truly is. People always say how they would carry around a bottle of BBQ or ketchup, well this sauce is the one I would carry around. The best part is that it can go on every single thing that comes in the meal. While its clearly the best on chicken, it tastes amazing on the fries and the toast as well. Onto the next part of the meal, the fries. The fries are truly amazing. They are crinkle cut and salted to perfection. They are the perfect compliment to the chicken. The Texas toast is also very good. It is buttered and toasted to the right level, and when dipped in the Cane's sauce it's hard to beat that. The coleslaw is nothing special, but it is good. When all of these foods come together it makes for a very satisfying meal and leaves one feelings complete.

Canes is hands down the best fast food joint out there. I rarely go there and have a problem with any of it. While there might be times I spend a little bit more than I have, I always realize that it is very worth it. The customer service is second only to maybe Chick-fil-a. The pricing is very reasonable for the amount and quality of food that one gets. And the food is potentially the best in the world. There is absolutely nothing that I would change about Cane's. It is a place that everyone should try at least once in their life. To wrap everything up, one can tell that Canes is a place that should be tried. There are really no flaws to make someone not want to try Canes out.
